The name Brave Pudding traces back to the Founder’s years spent in East Hampton, NY and the unusual name of one of its streets, Pudding Hill Lane. Sarah was inspired by the spirit of the story behind it: A Revolutionary War-era Housewife’s daring deed in 1776 - bravely refusing to serve her pudding to the Redcoat soldiers demanding it – and in defiance, throwing her pudding down the hill instead of handing it over - her own personal revolution using the means available to her.
